Birthday Photo Traditions - Brisbane Family Photographer

On my Birthday the year my daughter was born I had a photo taken with my kids and Birthday cup cakes. Every year since, I have continued this tradition and look forward to taking this special photo on my Birthday. I now have a collection of 13 years of photos starting when my my eldest was 2 and a half and my youngest was 6 months old.

Eleven of the thirteen photos have been taken by me using a tripod and remote so I encourage you to get in the pics with your kids Mums. My kids know that we get this photo every year and I've told them when they are adults they will have to come home so I can get my photo with them. Photography doesn't always have to have the perfect camera, lens, location and lighting sometimes it's as simple as getting in the picture and treasuring the moment. Each and every one of these birthday photos is special to me and spending my birthday with the most important people in the world is what it's about.

This is one tradition that I will keep doing each year forever. What photo traditions do you do on a yearly basis?
